The module tackles basic and advanced tools used in drafting / designing two (2) dimensional drawings using AutoCAD 2008 or lower versions. Exercises are made relative to the needs of participants dealing with fabrication, engineering projects and prototypes, manufacturing process and machine lay-outing, mechanical drawings, electrical lay-outing and architectural designs.
COURSE OBJECTIVES : At the end of the course, participants are expected to:
§ Learn the basics and tricks of AutoCAD2008 program.
§ Draw 2-Dimensional drawings accurately.
§ Use Layer Properties Manager.
§ Customize AutoCAD windows.
§ Design templates for specific designs.
§ Apply different Plotting Techniques.
§ Independently apply the knowledge and skill obtained to their work areas.
TARGET PARTICIPANTS : Engineering, Facility and Manufacturing personnel dealing with projects concerning design, fabrication, process and machine lay outing, and other activities that requires drawing. It is also recommended to all Technical personnel who want to be more competitive.
PRE-REQUISITE SKILLS : Knows how to use a computer.
MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION : Discussion using PowerPoint slides and actual exercises by AutoCAD 2008 software elba100% Computer hands-on PC – Trainee Ratio: 1:1
