Mr. Brooks Loomis

  PROFILE

While serving a distinguished career of more than thirty eight years in the United States Navy, R. Brooks Loomis and the Navy discovered that he is "different."  Never satisfied with the status quo, he always searched for a better way to do things - especially in the area of customer service.  He achieved an enviable record of always being there for American sailors with problems.

Because of his compassion and demonstrated leadership, Brooks was selected to assist in the development of the U.S. Navy's first-ever Leadership and Management Development Program.

It was natural, therefore, for Brooks to embrace the concepts of Paul J. Meyer, founder of Success Motivation Institute, and to begin an association with Mr. Meyer in 1978 which continues to this day.  He continues as a distributor for goal-setting, sales and management motivational programs.

In 1988, Brooks was selected by Dr. Denis Waitley, author of "Seeds of Greatness," "The Psychology of Winning," "Being the Best," "Empires of the Mind," and "The Double Win," to assist in the implementation of his ultimate self-management skills development program, "The WINNER's EDGE."  Brooks is one of only two people in Asia authorized by Dr. Waitley to conduct "The Winner's Edge," and is the only person in Asia authorized to train other facilitators.

As a member of Toastmasters International, Brooks, a Distinguished Toastmaster, served as District Governor for the states of Delaware and Maryland, and earned Distinguished District honors.
