Mr. Cesar L. Quiason
 

  PROFILE

Mr. Cesar L. Quiason is among the country's pioneering engineers and experienced Technology and Business Management leaders in the field of semiconductor & electronics operations and manufacturing process development. He spent a total of 28 years in Intel Corporation in the Philippines and abroad, serving in various technical and managerial capacities until his retirement from the company in April 2004. His biggest career job assignment and most rewarding and morale boosting  from his standpoint as a Filipino, was his leadership performance and Project Management Support as the Site Start Up General Manager for Intel Corporation's "Greenfield"  factory installation in San Jose, Costa Rica from 1997-1999. He was also responsible in leading successful Product line start up projects in the Flash Memory product Line and the Microprocessor Product Line for Intel in the Philippines between 1989 and 1999 with more than a dozen new equipment and process installations managed via project teams. His career at Intel Philippines took him through various disciplines (Mfg,/QA/Process/Product/Development) with various aspects of project leadership skills picked up and put to practice along the way. 

Mr. Quiason completed with honors a Management Development Program in AIM in 1991 and was a charter member of the ASEMEP (Association of Semiconductor and Electronics Mfg. Engineers in the Philippines), being elected as it's first President in 1990. 

Mr. Quiason currently leads an institution of learning and competency building,  the Advanced Research and Competency Development Institute (ARCDI), a non-stock, non-profit organization chartered to provide leading edge advanced training for engineers in various technical fields and competency areas, and working hand in hand with the government, the academe and other consultants. He is a strong supporter and advocate of human capital development and firmly believes that one's destiny can be influenced and directed.
