Engr. Franz A. de Leon graduated from the University of the Philippines, Diliman with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering in 2003 and Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2005. He has been teaching in UP Diliman for four years. His research interests include digital signal processing in communications, audio engineering, smart antenna arrays and, digital filters. He has published several papers in local and international conferences including IEEE Region 10 Conference. He is the current laboratory head of DSP Laboratory of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
